"This location is a well-known tourist destination, attracting a large number of international visitors. With that in mind, the design aims to create architecture that is accessible and welcoming to a diverse audience. The primary material used is expanded metal mesh provided by SCG. The concept behind the project is to showcase the versatility of this material — almost like a compact exhibition — while also creating an iconic structure that reflects the identity of this seaside destination. Waves of Earth การเกิดแผ่นดินไหวของประเทศไทยทำให้เราเกิดconcept เราจึงสร้างพื้นที่เปรียบเสมือนรอยแยกแผ่นดิน สนับสนุนให้ประเทศไทยตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับเรื่องภัยพิบัติธรรมชาติมากขึ้น รอยแยก (Fracture / Rift) การแตก การเคลื่อนที่ การเปลี่ยนแปลง เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบรูปทรง ใช้เส้น แตกหัก / zigzag / jagged line ในการกำหนดขอบอาคารรูปทรงเป็น กล่องที่ถูกแยกออก หลังคามี “ช่องว่าง (crack)” เป็นเส้นยาว ให้แสงส่องผ่านคล้ายรอยแยกจริง ช่องว่างที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ใช่แค่การแยก แต่เป็น “พื้นที่ใหม่” ให้แสง ลม ผู้คน ได้เข้ามามีปฏิสัมพันธ์ พื้นที่ภายจัดให้มี corridor / passage ที่แตกหักเหมือนการเดินตามแนวรอยแยก มีการใช้ “ช่องแสง” หรือ skylight ตามแนว crack เพื่อสร้างมิติของแสงเงา และ มี “ช่องเปิด” ที่ทำให้คนรู้สึกเหมือนกำลังยืนอยู่ภายในแผ่นดินที่ถูกแยก
