Woven Light Pavilion คือการตีความโจทย์ "Expanded" ในหลากหลายมิติ ไม่ใช่เพียงการขยายขนาดทางกายภาพ แต่คือการแปรสภาพ (Metamorphosis) อันลึกซึ้ง โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก "ดักแด้" ในธรรมชาติ โปรเจกต์เริ่มต้นจากการ "ขยาย" ตัววัสดุเหล็กแผ่น (Expanded Metal) จากระนาบ 2 มิติ สู่โครงสร้างเปลือกนอก (Exoskeleton) 3 มิติ ที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นทั้งโครงสร้างและผิวอาคารที่หายใจได้ เพื่อกรองแสงและลมอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ จากนั้น เราได้ "ขยาย" ศักยภาพของวัสดุไปอีกขั้น ด้วยนวัตกรรมการ "ถักทอแสง" (Woven Light) โดยการนำสายไฟ Woven LED Neon Strip ที่มีความทนทานสูง มาร้อยสานเข้าไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเนื้อตะแกรงเหล็ก ในเวลากลางคืน พาวิลเลี่ยนจะแปรสภาพจากวัตถุที่รับแสง กลายเป็นผู้กำเนิดแสงที่เรืองรองจากภายใน สร้างสภาวะแวดล้อมที่ขยายขอบเขตของประสาทสัมผัส กลายเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีชีวิต ที่เผยให้เห็นขั้วตรงข้ามระหว่างความแข็งกับความอ่อนโยน, อุตสาหกรรมกับธรรมชาติ เพื่อ "ขยาย" นิยามของวัสดุธรรมดาให้กลายเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับ "ขยาย" จินตนาการของผู้คน

"This location is a well-known tourist destination, attracting a large number of international visitors. With that in mind, the design aims to create architecture that is accessible and welcoming to a diverse audience. The primary material used is expanded metal mesh provided by SCG. The concept behind the project is to showcase the versatility of this material — almost like a compact exhibition — while also creating an iconic structure that reflects the identity of this seaside destination.
