K.GUY'S HOUSE

This multi-level residential design is crafted for a Thai-Chinese family of eight, with future expansion in mind. Given the frequent entertaining of guests by some family members, the core focus of the design is to foster strong family relationships while simultaneously ensuring a sense of security and individual privacy for everyone within the home. To achieve this delicate balance, the design strategically employs flowing green spaces and split levels. Continuous, low-maintenance greenery, from entry planting to a private courtyard and balconies, weaves throughout the residence, creating a serene and refreshing environment. The clever use of split levels enhances privacy within individual zones, providing personal retreats, while also facilitating natural interaction and connection throughout the home. This intelligent integration of levels and greenery crafts a dwelling that perfectly balances personal seclusion, social connection, and a deep bond with nature, creating a true haven for a large, thriving family.
